Share "Extending Valentine's Day"
Don't just toss away that beautiful bouquet that meant so much to you. Keep it around as a romantic reminder forever. It's easy to preserve flowers with little or no expense:
For simple bouquets of smaller blooms, just trim the lower leaves from the stem and hang the flowers upside down for a month or two. Keep them in a cool well-ventilated space, away from sunlight.
For bigger flowers such as roses--the perennial Valentine's favorite-- you'll need to use silica gel, available in craft stores or at florist shops.
