Who We Are
Bob’s Garden Center has maintained its family-owned tradition while expanding its role as a community hub under the leadership of Sandy Noten-Heuman and Jackie Noten-Hudson. By offering more than just plants and advice, they foster a sense of community around gardening and nature. Their workshops, events, and educational content on YouTube enhance the experience for customers, making the center a place of learning and creativity. Their approach seems to focus on connecting people through a shared passion for nature, which likely helps keep their business thriving and relevant.
What We Sell
Bob’s Garden Center is a wonderful place for plant and decor enthusiasts, with a focus on both locally grown plants, many grown in our 30 greenhouses, and supporting other local businesses. Our 5 acres of retail space during the growing season is an impressive sight, especially with the wide variety of plants, shrubs, and trees available. The year-round houseplants and decor, along with seasonal holiday items, offer customers something for every season.
How We Give Back
It’s inspiring that Bob’s Garden Center not only nurtures a love for gardening but also gives back to the community in such meaningful ways, like the annual bus trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show for the Children’s Hospital. The emphasis on children’s education in planting and the support of local organizations demonstrate a strong commitment to the community.
