Monstera deliciosa's iconic, split leaves are so pretty that they've been featured extensively in art and design recently, but even more stunning is the plant itself. Also known as a split leaf philodendron, this easy-to-grow houseplant can get huge and live for many years, and it looks great with many different interior styles. It's safe to say this plant isn't going away anytime soon.

Calathea is a genus of plants belonging to the family Marantaceae. There are several dozen species in this genus. Native to the tropical Americas, many of the species are popular as pot plants due to their decorative leaves and, in some species, colorful inflorescences. They are commonly called calatheas or prayer plants.

Wandering jew plants have green, heart-shaped leaves with purple stripes and a silvery sheen to them. Depending on the variety, the leaves can be solid or variegated. Blooms are small with three petals and can be violet or white.

Water. Easy does it with the watering. You want to be careful not to overdo it because your plant will rot out. Always make sure the soil is almost completely dry before thoroughly watering again. Dracaena fragrans "Massangeana," also called corn plant, is a tropical plant whose leaves resemble corn stalk leaves. It is a slow growing shrub that will only grow outdoors in zones 10 and 11, where temperatures never drop below 30 degrees Fahrenheit. In the United States, therefore, it is most often grown as an indoor plant.
